Giving Back to Those Who Serve
We’re proud to share that a local Salem County veteran recently became a recipient of Habitat for Humanity of Salem County’s Veteran Critical Home Repair Corps. A U.S. Army veteran, Gene Hamilton, received essential electrical and plumbing repairs, helping ensure their home is safe.
Thanks to the support of donors and community partners, we’re able to give back to those who’ve given so much.
This project is a powerful reminder that when we come together, we can make a lasting impact—one home, one veteran at a time.
Recyclable Ramp Program
Habitat for Humanity of Salem County’s Recyclable Ramp Program provides wheelchair-accessible ramps to individuals with mobility challenges.
Built using modular, reusable materials, these ramps can be disassembled and reinstalled at new locations—making the program both cost-effective and sustainable.
The program serves seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans, helping them safely enter and exit their homes with dignity and independence.
It’s just one more way HFHSC is committed to building not just houses, but accessibility, stability, and community.
