Oldmans Township has State funds available to help Township homeowners repair their homes.

Assistance is provided as forgivable and deferred loans. 50% of the assistance is a forgivable loan that converts to an outright grant in 6 years. The other 50% is a deferred loan that homeowners pay back without interest when the home is sold. Assistance of up to $25k per home can be approved.

Repairs can include windows, roofs, walls, porches, doors, steps, wiring, plumbing, hot water heaters, heating systems, insulation, ADA compliance improvements and similar work to bring the homes up to building code standards.

Assistance is available to homeowners with 2021 gross household incomes less than the following ceilings:

  • 1 person – $52,950
  • 2 people –  $60,500
  • 3 people – $68,050
  • 4 people – $75,600
  • 5 people – $81,650
  • 6 people – $87,700
  • 7 people – $93,750
  • 8 people – $99,800
